We are produced by Nonclassical, a charity based in east London that brings contemporary classical music to new audiences through informal pub gigs and album releases. It was founded in Gabriel Prokofiev, grandson of Sergei Prokofiev, in 2004, and is now run by Eleanor Ward, who is also our Project Director.
The next Nonclassical orchestral club night is Rise of the Machines, taking place on Saturday 21 October, in a warehouse space in east London. The performance, which includes the world premiere of Concerto for Drum Machine & Orchestra, explores the use of machines and mechanical influences on classical music.
Nonclassical has put on events across London in venues such as XOYO, Red Gallery, Bloc, Hackney Showroom and the Barbican, and also across the world in Berlin, Tallinn, Malta, Budapest, New York and even further afield. Listen on Spotify to the complete discography or the summer playlist.
