Music for Everyone, Anywhere! Would you like to help shape London's newest orchestra and take orchestral music out of the concert hall and into the community? Street Orchestra of London (SOL) is seeking an experienced, highly organised candidate for the role of Project Manager.
This part-time role will involve planning, overseeing and monitoring the transformation of SOL from a project managed by Nonclassical into a CIO in its own right. The ideal candidate will have experience of working at management level at a CIO or a similar charitable organisation. They will also have a track recording in successful fundraising, and be able identify potential funding opportunities for our summer 2018 tour.
Initial funding for this role is one day per week for a minimum of 4 months. For the right candidate this will be an ongoing engagement and a chance for them to expand the role to create the post of Executive Director of the orchestra (subject to securing ongoing funding). SOL does not have an office but meets regularly in central London, as such working from home is essential.
